HOA President's Report

By: Daniel McBroom

For all of the winter residents of Plantation Landings that have left or who will be leaving, have a safe and joyful summer. We hope to  see you all this fall or winter when you return. If your E-Mail address in the new phone book is not the right one please send me your updated one, so that I can keep you informed on the sale of our park and any other important happenings throughout the time that you are away.

Also for the people who stay here all summer please check your E-Mail address in the new phone book and if it's different let me know.

Please do not give out your gate code to anyone, we have enough unwanted traffic in the park as it is. If someone calls you from the gate and you do not know them please do not let them in. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.

I would like to ask everyone to keep an eye on your neighbors homes and notify either the managers or the Polk County Sheriff's office at (863) 298-6200 if you see  anything  suspicious  going  on  within  the  park. Those that are CAP members can use the phone number that we use to call in to dispatch.

From the Polk County Sheriff's Web Page. (Place is Safety)

Question: When I am on vacation, could someone come by my house and check on it?

Answer: Yes. Call the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 863-298-6200 and ask the Sheriff’s Office member  to  fill  out  a  patrol  request  for  your  home. The Methodist Church pickup of aluminum cans and newspapers  from  the  laundry  room  is  May  5  and May 19. Please, do not put magazines or books with the newspapers.

Next HOA Board Meeting is Sept. 27 at 7 pm
