It's that time of year again. One month before hurricane season begins. It is the time to review your storm plans, check out your supplies and be ready. Once you are prepared, you can sit back and enjoy Summer because you do have a plan and know what you are going to do if, by chance we have a hurricane headed our way. Hey it doesn't have to be a hurricane, our Summer storms can cause power outages and tree damage too.

Please remember, if you are at the pool, hot tub, playing golf ect., and hear thunder, get under cover. Lightening can strike even if the main storm is ten miles away.

Bike riders and golf cart drivers, please keep in mind that you too have to travel at a safe speed, stop at stop signs and signal your turns. Please keep to your side of the road when going around curves. I am still getting reports of "close calls". Remember, lights at night. Walkers too.
